This is a club of interested Stage 3 students who are learning to become mentors in Lego WeDo 2.0 robotics so that they can work with Stage 2 students. We are working through the WeDo 2.0 Getting Started and Guided Projects sequentially, learning how to build, program and then eventually to innovate on creating devices to fulfil perceived needs. Then these students will mentor younger students, guiding them through the process, assisting them to learn how to use visual code blocks to program robots. The long term goal is to bring robotics into the classrooms as a vehicle to deliver technologies capability outcomes and enable teachers to see and harness the value of coding across the curriculum.
